I believe middle school is where musicians are made — not because everyone plays perfectly, but because this is where students learn what it feels like to get better on purpose. My job is to make the band room a place where that work is expected, supported, and genuinely fun.
In our program, students grow as players and as people. They learn responsibility by managing their own practice through MakeMusic, communication by working out conflicts a day ahead, and pride by walking onto a stage prepared. "Eyes with Pride" isn't just a motto — it's the standard we hold every rehearsal.
Families are part of this too. Thank you for the instruments cleaned, the rides given, and the encouragement at home. If you ever have a question or concern, please reach out — my door is always open.
