Repeat each pattern a few times and add fills where you see fit. You can play all three in the same recording — just announce which pattern you're playing first! For more points, add more fills and change some of the cymbals to fit the styles.

Don't stress

You don't need a perfect audition

You may not be able to prepare this entire audition perfectly — don't let that stop you from auditioning. Many students have made jazz band without a perfect audition. Do your very best and you will do great!
